Bunichi Hamade
Hamade was born on 1 January 1876. He was a fishing boat master. His family
includes Bundaemon Hamade (father; deceased at time of file) and Isao Hamade
(grandson). His home address is listed as Steveston, BC. He rented a room at
Hotel World, 300 Powell Street, Vancouver, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to
Slocan Extension, BC and was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946. His listed seized
property includes his boat, the “B.H. No. 2” purchased by Leonard Ernest Kyle,
and a Winchester rifle.
