Chujiro Kawamoto
Kawamoto was born on 19 May 1878. He was a fisherman. His family includes Tomo Kawamoto
(mother; deceased at time of file), Yoshimatsu Kawamoto (father; deceased at time
of file), Kisa Kawamoto (wife; nee Kisa Tomino), and Kinuyo Kawamoto (daughter). He
lived at Vancouver Cannery, Eburne, BC and was forcibly uprooted to Tashme, BC and
Kamloops, BC. His listed seized property includes: one-half acre farm with house in
Municipality of Richmond, District of New Westminster, BC [listed as related to “the
Veterans’ Land Act”]; wooden shed; boat “C.K.”; fishing equipment; household belongings;
garden tools; food; stove; sewing machines; Japanese magazines.
