He was born on July 1878. He was a painter employed by Stanley Park Shipyard (Hisaoka
Bunji). His family includes Setsu Okinobu (mother; nee Setsu Ueuno), Jinzaimon Okinobu
(father), Yone Okinobu (wife), Ayako Hisaoka (daughter; nee Ayako Okinobu), Miyako
Uchiyama (daughter; nee Miyako Okinobu; in Japan), Teruo Okinobu [also listed as Paul
Okinobu] (son). His home address is listed as 1170 Powell Street, Vancouver, BC. He
was forcibly uprooted to Greenwood, BC and he was exiled to Japan on 2 October 1946.
