Her family includes Shogoro Shimono (husband), Miyoko Shimono (daughter; in Japan), Midori Shimono (daughter; in Japan), Ritsuro Shimono (son; in Japan), Toyoko Shimono (daughter; in Japan), Moto Sasaki (mother), and Keitaro Sasaki (father). Her home address is listed as 130 Gore Avenue, Vancouver, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to East Lillooet, BC and she was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
