His family includes Midori Nagatoshi (wife; in Japan), Tadao Nagatoshi (son; in Japan), Kazuo Nagatoshi (son; in Japan), and Hisashi Nagatoshi (son; in Japan). He lived in Dewdney, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Sandon, BC and exiled to Japan 31 May 1946.
