Her maiden name was Shina Nakamura, possibly Shina Irie. She was born on 28 December
1900. She was a houseworker employed by Mrs. A. Holmes. Her family includes Kyuya
Mori (wife), Iwakichi Irie (father), and Naka Irie (mother; nee Naka Yabutani). Her
home address is listed as 320 Alexander Street, Vancouver BC. She was forcibly uprooted
to Slocan, BC and exiled to Japan on 24 December 1946.
