Ekinosuke Murotani
Former name Ekinosuke Ota, adopted into Murotani family. He was born on 23 January
1893. He was a watchman employed by Department of Mines and Resources. His family
includes Kanu Murotani (wife; in Japan), Kaichi Ota (father), Natsu Ota (mother),
Yasuyo Murotani (daughter; in Japan). He lived in Jedway, BC. He was forcibly uprooted
to Hope, BC and exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
