family includes Etsusaburo Uyeyama (father) and Mitsuyo Uyeyama (mother; nee Mitsuyo
Kokawa). He lived in Nanaimo, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Slocan, BC and exiled
to Japan on 17 June 1946.
