He was born on 7 April 1896. He was a logger employed by Mayo Brothers Lumber Mill. His family includes Sumie Mitsushio (separated wife), Toyota Mitsushio (father), Kiso Mitsushio (mother), Minato Mitsushio (son). He lived in Paldi, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Slocan, BC and exiled to Japan on 31 May 1946.
