Correspondence from S. G. Blaylock, President of the Consolidated Mining and Smelting Co., to Premier Hart and Lieutentant-Governor Woodward requesting anti-aircraft guns to protect his plants. He expresses concern about a young Japanese Canadian man sketching the plants in Trail and Tadanac, probably Saburo Takahashi. Correspondence with Premier Hart, Minister of Labour Pearson, Ian MacKenzie, Attorney-General Maitland, Major General Alexander and Commissioner Parsons about Mr. Blaylock, and his request is also included.
