This sub-series contains three files regarding correspondence between Premier Johnson and the Japanese Canadian Citizens Association regarding the lifted restrictions on Japanese Canadian voting rights, correspondence supporting franchise, citizenship and resisting occupational restrictions and racial discrimination in organizations such as the University of British Columbia Student Liberal Club, the Society of Friends, the UBC Labor Progressive Party, the UBC Student Christian Movement, and various churches.
