Scope and content
This is the probate record of Tsuneki Morikawa who died in Matsqui (now City of Abbotsford) on 11 August 1939. Both Morikawa’s widow, Suna Morikawa, and the Office of the Custodian assented to the appointment of Morikawa’s son, Tokio Morikawa, as administrator of the estate. Tokio and Suna shared the estate which included land property, presumably in Matsqui.
