Scope and content |
This file contains documents of prominent Canadian social worker Amy Leigh. The first document is a report Leigh wrote, 4 February 1943, on the efforts of social
workers during the 1942 internment and dispossession of Japanese Canadians. The second
document is a resume Leigh prepared for Karen Hill. Concerning the internment, she reported that she was “seconded” to the BC Security Commission to set up social services at Hastings Park.
