Scope and content |
This fonds comprises six series containing documents from the Vancouver City Council that discuss the Japanese Canadian population in Vancouver. The records reference the condition of residential properties in the Powell Street area, policies regarding the Japanese Canadian community that had been forcibly removed
from the area, reports from the Department of Fisheries discussing the prices of cod from Japanese Canadian fisheries, and correspondence
between the Vancouver City Council and the Japanese Language School in Vancouver.
