Dear Sir;
I am interested in the salmon fishing in and around Vancouver. I would like to know the starting date for the coming season. Would appreciate it very much if you could give the name of some responsible fishing Companies from which a boat and nets could be rented.
Are any of the fishing boats which were seized from the Japs available for use, and from what person could these be rented. (or bought)
Yours Truly,
Ted Striker

Terminology

Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice.
