Included are the sale agreements and assorted correspondence relating to the sale (e.g., mortgage documents) to Somerset Limited in May of 1943. An early letter dated April 1942, from G.K. Uchiyama (Royston Lumber Company Limited) to P.S. Ross & Sons states the company's intent "to leave the Mill as it is under Custodian's care for the duration."
