This file includes Bird Commission's account records of fees claimed, moneys disbursed, and all monies received from
any source. It consists of records concerning "bank reconciliation"; copies of P.C.
3481, 243, 3737, 1810; correspondence regarding the appointment of Sub-Commissioners;
documents noting the salaries of employees of the Commission (including Japanese translators);
information on the expenses of Commissioner Bird and expenses incurred by the Commission. Also included is discussion of claim recommendations
for a number of corporate claims.
