Scope and content |
This file comprises a number of sub-folders organized by topic. The first, "Accounts
- Finances - Audit," deals largely with the financial books and accounts of the Japanese Fishing Vessel Disposal Committee. The second set of documents, "Claims - Naval - History of Policies," deals with
claims regarding damaged fishing vessels, as well as general matters of policy related
to the JFVDC. The final sub-folder, "Companies - Fishing - Associations," contains a small amount
of correspondence between the JFVDC and a number of "principal fishing companies in British Columbia" regarding the disposal of Japanese Canadian–owned fishing vessels.
