Scope and content |
This file contains minutes of the meetings of the British Columbia Security Commission in 1942 and 1943. These minutes generally concern details relating to the internment
process and camps as well as discussions on general BCSC services and governmental policy including maintenance, hospitalization, allowances,
supplies, education, employment, and briefly, the dispossession of Japanese Canadians.
The minutes also discuss the BCSC's possession of the Japanese Canadian newspaper The New Canadian.
