Scope and content
This series comprises six files pertaining primarily to the deportation and "repatriation" (i.e., forced exile) procedure in 1946, "voluntary repatriation" to Japan of many people of Japanese descent in Canada and the United States, the Tribunal and Provincial Advisory Committees and other organizations regarding the deportation and segregation of Japanese Canadians, and the Japanese Canadian community's response to the establishment of the "segregation and relocation" policy and Loyalty tribunal.
