His family includes Kau Nakanishi (mother), Kinosuke Nakanishi (father), Ume Tsuji (wife; in Japan), Chiyoko Nakanishi (daughter; in Japan), and Koyo Nakanishi (daughter; in Japan). His home address is listed as Steveston, BC. He was forcibly uprooted to Lorette, MB and was exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
