Scope and content
Series consists of one file of miscellaneous notes pertaining to Tashme High School activities and Japanese Canadian internment.
Name of creator
Winnifred (McBride) Awmack is the author of "Tashme - A Japanese Relocation Centre, 1942-1946" which describes in good detail the activities of the school and the impact the United Church staff had on the community of young adults in Tashme. It describes building 'D' in Tashme where the classes were held.
Immediate source of acquisition
No digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
