Scope and content |
This file consists of one photograph green album with a lamp and mini dog on the cover;
the album is identified as John Eiji Tonomura's Japan Album. The photographs include
the Tonomura family, John's classmates and friends, depicting everyday life in Japan
post war. Dates are predominately in the 1950s up to 1963. Tucked between pages at
the beginning of the album is a textual record; an invoice to John Tonomura dated
15 September 1967 for one Globetraveller II for $213.95. Tucked between pages at the
end of the album is a photograph of John and Marlene Tonomura in Tijuana Mexico in
1980.
