                        Dear Sirs:
I have already written to you concerning about our radio before which was either lost
                           or stolen.

According to your letter of July 31st, 1946 you stated that you were in no position to recompence for the loss of this radio
but when we wrote back to you on August 6th you wrote back to us that this letter was given consideration but since then we have
now moved to Waterways, Alta. and haven't heard from you. So once again I want to ask you what measure is taken
towards this matter. If possible I would like to have a 6-tube long and short wave
radio in return or $80.00 for the payment of the radio.

                        Anxiously awaiting your immediate reply.

                        Terminology
Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese
Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment
and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes
of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological
choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice.
