On the transfer document, Kiusuke Oike is listed as the assignor, Thomas Davidson
as the assignee, and Juichi Fukuda as the purchaser. However, on the title document,
Thomas Davidson is listed as the owner.
Three values were listed. Here is a quote from the transfer document explaining:
"the said assignor agreed to sell and convey unto the said Purchaser, who therein
agreed to purchase from the said Assigner, the lands therein and hereinafter described,
for the sum of $2150 [...] whereas, there is still owing and unpaid under the said
Agreement for Sale the sum of $850 together with interest at the rate of seven percent
per annum [...] that in the consideration of the premises, and of the sum of $765
of lawful money of Canada now paid by the Assignee to the Assignor [...] , he the
Assignor doth hereby grant, assign, and set over unto the Assignee, the said Agreement
for Sale together with all moneys due, owing or payable thereunder, and all the right,
title, and interest of him the Assignor thereunder and therein."
