The land title index is organized by title but can also be organized by valuation metrics and transfer dates where available. Users can select a land title and see the legal description as well as owner information. The titles also have information about prior ownership of a property which are useful for tracking sales. Titles also indicate if a property was sold by the Office of the Custodian of Enemy Property or through the Veteran’s Land Act as well as whether sellers and buyers were Japanese Canadian, of Asian descent, or not. Digital story maps can be viewed for each title and georeferencing coordinates can be downloaded in GeoJSON format.
