explanation on the transfer document:
"Whereas by order dated the 29th day of May, 1926, the lands hereinafter mentioned,
were vested int he said Grantor for sale. And Whereas tenders were called for the
purchase of the said land and by order dated the 11th day of September, 1926, the
offer of the Grantee was accepted and the Grantor ordered to grant and convey the
said land to him. Now therefore this Indenture witnesseth that in pursuance of the
said premises and with all powers, him the Grantor enabling and that in consideration
of the sum of eight hundred and twenty five dollars of lawful money of Canada now
paid by the said Grantee to the said Grantor, he, the said grantor, doth grant unto
the said grantee his heirs and assigns forever:" (This part is followed by the legal
description).

Plaintiff: Paul Mazerolle
Defendants: Masa Shimoda, Administratrix of the personal estate of Katsukuma Shimoda,
deceased, Toshio Shimoda, Jitsu Takeuchi, and the said Masa Shimoda
It seems that Paul Mazerolle sued Shimoda et al over the property and won.
