This file consists of correspondence and records pertaining to the reconsideration of the Bird Commission claim of Eikichi Kagetsu and the Deep Bay Logging Company. Kagetsu and his lawyer, T.G. Norris, reached out to Angus MacInnis for assistance in appealing Kagetsu’s recommended award. Included is correspondence with H. Kagetsu, Norris, John C. Osborne (solicitor), H.R. Okuda (of the JCCA), Minister of Fisheries James Sinclair, F.G. Shears, K.W. Wright, as well as Secretary of State Gordon F. Bradley.
