This file contains correspondence and documents pertaining to the potential sale of Ocean Timber Company to Lake Logging Company and the troubled partnership between Eikichi Kagetsu and Mitsui & Co. Ltd. in relation to their interests in the Ocean Timber Company. Included are discussions about Block 403, Kagetsu's purchase of Block 195, and a house on MacKenzie Street. This file also includes Kagetsu's preliminary plan to take Mitsui & Co. Ltd. to court.
Name of creator
Norris, Thomas Grantham created this archive during his time as a lawyer and donated it to the Legal Archives of B.C. in 1989. The larger portion of this archive was transferred to RBSC in 1990.
