This series comprises twelve series containing newspaper articles pertaining to Japanese Canadians and the following: the status, use, and sale of seized fishing vessels; restrictions on leasing or buying land; the surrender and seizure of businesses, cameras, automobiles, and other property; the Vancouver City Council and the B.C. Security Commission; the blocking of sales; moves to cancel trade licences; forcible uprooting from Steveston; the forced sale of farms and vehicles; the rental of seized homes in Vancouver; the future for Japanese Canadian–owned businesses; the "Little Tokyo" area of Vancouver; the state of fisheries in British Columbia; and the state of seized berry farms in the Fraser Valley.
