This file contains minutes from a Special Committee regarding Japanese registration which met with members of the Japanese community such as Tsutae Sato (principal of Japanese-language school), Yoshimitsu Higashi (“New Canadian” staff member), K. Shimizu, Sadyoshi Hoki, and Dr. M. Ishiwara. Higashi provided the majority of answers in the Q and A session; the questions centred mainly on education of Japanese-Canadian children.
