This file contains a letter from Winnifred Awmack describing her experience at Tashme as a teacher. She relates the hardships of living in a world with no material wealth available to either the high school or the students’ families. The second document is a handwritten jotting, ostensibly of students’ impressions on seven subjects: the BC Security Commission; Shinwakai; schools; churches; RCMP; movies; and other recreation.
