Dear Sir,
Will you please let me know as soon as you find out what the Government intends to do with the Jap Fishing Boats as I would like to get a good sized Troller some of my relatives have been fishing on the West Coast for years and I have done quite a bit of it myself and intend to get a boat if possible by the time the season opens.
Sincerely yours

Terminology

Readers of these historical materials will encounter derogatory references to Japanese Canadians and euphemisms used to obscure the intent and impacts of the internment and dispossession. While these are important realities of the history, the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective urges users to carefully consider their own terminological choices in writing and speaking about this topic today as we confront past injustice. See our statement on terminology, and related sources here.
