Scope and content |
This file contains a report titled "A Record of the Work of the Cooperative Committee of Japanese Canadians: June 1943 to September 1947." This document gives an overview of the history of
achievements of the group in the years before their work forwarding claims and aiding
claimants in the Bird Commission. The file also contains a letter from the Canadian Civil Liberties Union to Prime Minister King asking for a commission not unlike the Bird Commission to inquire into economic losses suffered during the war.
