This file contains general correspondence maintained by F.A. Brewin from 1944 to 1945. It includes the following: a Japanese Canadian Committee for Democracy Nisei Affairs publication on “Profit and Loss Statement: Expression of the People” (which includes Humphrey Mitchell’s statement on "repatriation"); correspondence discussing the establishment of a Loyalty commission; and correspondence with expressions of concern about the deportation orders.
