This file contains correspondence regarding and petitions from ten Japanese Canadian women and others regarding release from internment confinement. Petitions often concern poor health and conditions of the camps. Included are also petitions concerning the deportation policy being enforced against individuals. There is also discussion of the proposed "Loyalty Tribunal" in the context of the deportation and release of internees, as well as requests from Pedro E. Schwartz regarding process of evacuation and property of Japanese in Canada.
