This file contains Order-in-Council PC 1942-1968, dated 16 March 1942. This Order-in-Council orders the Department of National Defence (particularly, the Real Estate Adviser) to assist the Department of Labour in arranging for the "temporary accommodation" of personnel of Japanese origin at Hastings Park ("two buildings in the Exhibition Grounds at Vancouver, BC"). It recommends that the Livestock Building and the Women's Building be leased from the Vancouver Exhibition Association for this purpose.
