This file contains correspondence, memoranda, and records pertaining to the transportation
of Japanese Canadians and Japanese nationals deported in 1945 and 1946. It includes
the following: the final report written by Oscar Orr on the arrival of "repatriates"; correspondence on the baggage situation of individuals;
records pertaining to the logistical details of transportation (e.g., schedule, RCMP escorts, CPR rail transport); and notes on the progress and status of the deportation procedure.
