Her family includes Risaburo Shibata (husband), Toshihiro Shibata (son), Yeiko Shibata (daughter), Kazuko Shibata (daughter), Fumie Shibata (daughter) and Yoshiaki Shibata (son). Her home address is listed as 934 West 6th Avenue, Vancouver, BC. She was forcibly uprooted to Lemon Creek, BC and exiled to Japan on 17 June 1946.
