This file contains documentation relating to the creation of the British Columbia Security Commission. It includes details of P.C. 1665, recommendations of the BCSC prohibiting possession
of firearms by Japanese Canadians, and a report of the Royal Commission (appointed
pursuant to P.C. 9498) "to enquire into the provisions made for the welfare and maintenance
of persons of the Japanese race resident in settlements in the province of British Columbia." Ledgers and expense reports of the BCSC are also within.
