It includes and pertains to the following: correspondence regarding restrictions on "repatriates" (e.g., monies found on repatriates before sailing); procedure and logistics of repatriation; nominal rolls of "repatriates" on ships; reports on conditions of travel; details of baggage/freight transfer and the Custodian of Enemy Property’s procedure; and records outlining financial arrangements of those being deported. This file highlights the "co-operation between the Department of Labour and the RCMP in the administration of the provisions of the [deportation] Order."
