Scope and content |
This item is minutes of the War Committee of the Cabinet, dated 26 February 1942. These minutes discuss the movement of people of Japanese
descent from British Columbia; particularly, Prime Minister King emphasizes the magnitude of the task of evacuating all persons of the Japanese race
from the "protected area." He proposes a special organization to be set up for this
purpose. Cabinet discusses possible department which could provide agencies responsible.
