Scope and content |
This item includes minutes of the War Committee of the Cabinet, dated 08 July 1942. These minutes discuss the conditions in Japanese work camps
on the Blue River Highway. The Minister of Mines and Resources expresses concern over the "unsatisfactory conditions" due to dissatisfaction and
resentment among Japanese labourers, and discussions ensue suggesting removal and
greater security and discipline.
