Scope and content |
This is a letter from the Department of Social Welfare, sent on 10 January 1967, to
Mrs. Tsuma Tonomura. It consists of two pages stapled together. The first page, a
letter, notifies Tsuma that her monthly payments have been decreased from $75.00 to
$47.50. The decrease was the result of Moichiro Tonomura, her husband, receiving old
age security as of January 1. The letter has a signature from K.F. Gillies. The second
page is a summary of Tsuma Tonomura’s account with the Old-Age Assistance Board. This
letter was contained in an envelop, item 1995.125.2.3.1.
