This file consists of Volume No. 2 of a Department of Labour file titled "Future Japanese Policy." It contains extensive correspondence from the Department of Labour and Commissioner of Japanese Placement concerning the "repatriation" and relocation procedures to be carried out against Japanese nationals and Japanese Canadians. Several drafts of the procedures are included as well as discussion regarding the publicity of this initiative. Correspondence also discusses the issue of employment of Japanese Canadians inside and outside British Columbia.
