This fonds comprises three series concerning the Department of Labour, the forced uprooting of Japanese Canadians from the coast of British Columbia, interned Japanese Canadians and work camps, the forced seizure and sale of Japanese Canadians' property, policies and restrictions concerning Japanese Canadians, "voluntary repatriation," or forced exile, to Japan, and the intercepted private correspondence of Japanese Canadians.
