Scope and content |
This fonds comprises three series pertaining to the Department of Veterans Affairs and its Soldier Settlement and Veterans' Land Act branch. Material primarily concerns the Veterans' Land Act, 1942, seized Japanese
Canadian farm properties, the transfer of such seized property from the Custodian of Enemy Property to the Soldier Settlement Board, the procedure for obtaining titles to such properties in Haney and Mission for veterans after their settlements, and the voluntary transfer of property for
non–Japanese Canadian veterans.
