This item is a memorandum titled "The Japanese Problem in British Columbia," addressed to Mr. Robertson and dated 27 January 1942. The document, which is labelled
as being secret and confidential, details a meeting with Ian Mackenzie and Humphrey Mitchell and concerns a recommendation to dissolve of the Standing Committee in regards to
the Government's policy on Japanese Canadians in British Columbia and contains the conclusions to forcibly move Japanese nationals and allow Canadian
