Scope and content |
This item includes minutes of the War Committee of the Cabinet dated 09 July 1940 concerning the Pacific area, specifically relations with Japan. Anticipating war with Japan, these minutes note that "attention should be drawn to the requirements of Canadian
internal security, specifically the possibility of Japanese attack, the danger of
dissatisfaction amongst Japanese population in BC, and the necessity for protection of the Atlantic Coast against possible raids."
