Scope and content
This series comprises thirteen files containing various newspaper clippings collected by Yasutaro Yamaga and writings and articles by Yamaga. Material pertains to the following: the forced sale of property; Yamaga's resignation; the Bird Commission; labour disputes; the Doukhobors; British Columbian “pioneers”; coronation plans; the history of Japanese Canadians Haney; the Maple Ridge Santa Claus fund; "Japanese Spirit and the Nisei"; "Japanese Positive Union Vote and the Ku Klux Klan"; the co-operative movement in the Fraser Valley; the history of Japanese Canadian farming activities in BC; and the history of the Haney Agricultural Association. Much of the material is in Japanese. Also included is a photograph of a funeral procession and a few postcards and cards.
Name of creator
Yamaga, Yasutaro created this archive as leader of the Japanese Farmer's Union in the Fraser Valley.

The digital copies of the records were acquired by the Landscapes of Injustice Research Collective between 2014 and 2018.
